Technique/materials: Punch Needle Rug Hooking, cotton “monk’s cloth” backing, punched with wool yarn
Plush, wonderfully textured, vibrant with hand-dyed colors, this punch needle wall tapestry will add a vibrant splash of color and warmth to any room. Or, if you prefer, remove the mounting dowel and use as a toe-cozy rug. Made from 100% wool from our own flock of sheep on our sustainably-minded homestead farm!

Birds are one of my favorite subjects for fiber arts work, and here the majesty of the peacock comes to life with his ruby eye and ready claw. He struts proudly into the golden scene, surely hoping to catch an eye.

Fully mounted and ready for hanging. Shake or tap free of dust or debris. A gentle vacuum can be used with an upholstery attachment (no turning brushes please!). Spot clean with great care if necessary. For a full washing, please take to a cleaner that is experienced with wool carpets.
